What makes Newhaven College different from other schools?

We are a low fee paying school with a team of dedicated staff who each go the extra mile to care for our students. Children are at the centre of all we do.

How many students attend Newhaven College?

We have over 900 students from Prep to Year 12, each within their own unique sub school.

What is VESS?

The Victorian Ecumenical System of Schools (VESS) consists of a range of schools from Victoria.

What are the fees?

Newhaven College’s fees are less than a third of comparable Melbourne Independent schools. Fees are inclusive of academic tuition, camps and excursions. You can download our Fee Schedule from the Enrolments page

Do I pay extra for camps and excursions?

All our compulsory school camps and excursions are related to the curriculum and thus are inclusive in the fee structure. From time to time there are optional events such as a music camp, overseas trips and tours, World Challenge and the like which are not compulsory. These events are self-funded.

When is the best time to enrol?

For a seamless education we recommend enrolling at Prep, but we do accept enrolments across all Year levels. Our main intake year levels are at Prep, Year 7 and Year 10, but it is not uncommon to commence at other year levels, should there be a vacancy. The College Registrar will be able to help you with current vacancy enquiries.
