Ass Dip Outdoor Ed, B.Ed (PE & Science)

Ric began his education career in Outdoor education, working with a broad range of secondary and tertiary students, where he developed his skills as an Experiential Educator and Instructor.

His interest in experiential education and people led him to the corporate world, where he worked with some of Australia’s biggest companies in management training and facilitating culture change.

In 2001, Ric moved into Residential Education where he was Deputy Head of the Yarra Junction Campus of Caulfield Grammar School and then, Director of Marshmead with Methodist Ladies College. Ric joined Newhaven College in 2008 as the Head of Year 9 Environmental Centre.

Ric has a passion for working with young people in an environment that has a focus on providing an innovative, practical program, where students can develop interdependence in a community environment.
