Our magnificent oval and sport pavilion is home to Athletics and Cross Country carnivals, SEISA sports, PE and sport classes, and for students to enjoy at recess and lunch. It is also available for hire.
The canteen is open daily on the top floor of the pavilion and provides a range of healthy foods, hot food and snacks.
The Administration Wing houses Main Reception, staff offices, the staff room, and the Uniform Shop.
Our beautiful Library opened in July 2015 and has become a
social hub for students. With a classroom area, casual seating, private study rooms, a junior
reading room and an induction loop for the benefit of hearing aid users, it is an extremely
popular lunch time destination.
The Junior School comprises ten classrooms for Prep to Year
4, a central courtyard, assembly area, Music and Drama room and music tuition studios.
Popular play spaces in our Junior playground include the tee-pee, boat, mining club, shop,
sandpit, piano, cubby and playground equipment.
Year 4 students care for our chickens and vegie garden including composting fruit and vegie
scraps and managing the worm farm. Our 2016 Year 4’s got to paint the new chicken house!
Two all-weather surfaced multi-sport courts are utilised for PE and sport classes as well as
student games during recess and lunch time.
Opened in 2014, the environmentally smart Middle School
houses Year 5 to 8 classrooms and a Science lab. The Art room, Music studios, Health
Centre and Student Support Services are also used by Junior School. It certainly answers
the brief that was given to the architects to, ‘enable the students and staff to develop a sense
of community with open learning spaces that will bring the magnificence of the environment
into the classroom.’
A peaceful space surrounded by lush gardens for students to relax in that doubles as an
outdoor learning environment. The umbrellas were hand painted by students.
Meet ‘Harold’, our popular Science lab skeleton who encourages enthusiastic scientific
investigation and participates in our weekly Science Club.
Housing an enormous carpentry joinery, metal and plastics workshops and a Design
Technology classroom, our award winning Trade Skills Centre also offers 22216VIC
Certificate II in Building and Construction (Carpentry) Preapprenticeship
This centre only opened in 2015, providing students with a state of the art food preparation
facility and classroom that can also be used for catering for school functions.
The award winning ‘jewel in the crown’ at the top of the hill, the Year 9 centre offers a program based on environmental themes with
particular emphasis placed on the students’ personal development and enhancing their
sense of community.
This new facility will commence construction in late 2016 and upon completion in mid 2017
or early 2018 at the latest, will allow Year 10 – 12 students to move
across to the Phillip Island Road Campus.
