Bring Your Own Device
The 21st century is increasingly complex, global and networked. The learning needs and styles of Generation Y correlate to their relationship with digital technologies which are integral to their lifestyles and behaviours. From 2017 all Newhaven College students will be able to bring their own device to school to enhance their learning and studies. The aims of the BYOD program are;
- To provide the opportunity for students to bring an individual device to connect to our wireless and networked environment to ultimately enhance their learning experience.
- To provide our students access to anywhere, anytime learning at school and at home.
We have selected a company called Edunet as our preferred partner for our Student BYOD Portal at Newhaven College. Edunet is based in Dromana and is committed to providing good quality student notebooks at affordable prices. You may choose to purchase a laptop through Edunet or from another supplier, or your child may bring a device they currently have that meets the minimum requirements detailed in the following letter that was sent to all 2017 Year 7 to 12 families.

Please find the Edunet online ordering portal link below. The password you will need to access the portal is NewhavenCollege. Note that to receive Edunet orders prior to Christmas, your order must be paid for by Friday 14 October. To receive Edunet orders for the first day of Term 1, 2017, orders must be paid for by Wednesday 14 December.
