Parents and Friends

Newhaven College has a strong tradition of contribution towards many elements of our school through our active and friendly Parents and Friends Association (PFA). The PFA meet regularly throughout the year, forming social bonds and discussing ways in which the parent community can support our school.

We invite you to join us at our meetings. Previous experience in committees is not necessary and everyone is welcome to participate in whatever capacity they choose. If you are unable to attend meetings, but would like to be involved in Parents and Friends, please download our Volunteer Form below and return it to reception at any campus.

Parents and Friends have created a Business Directory to give College families the opportunity to advertise their businesses to our community. The directory is current for 2016 and 2017 with a new edition planned for 2018 when our community will again be invited to be included.

Class Representatives

Another way parents can take an active involvement in school life is to volunteer as a Class Representative. In this role, parents support the teacher and the school, help to organise social events for parents and organise parents to assist with fundraising and other events.

The Class Representative's Guide below contains a list of this year's Class Representatives and more information on the duties associated with the role.
