Our highly professional staff are the College’s most valuable resource. This is particularly the case where the quality of education provided for our students depends upon the ability of teachers to provide positive role models and engage, stimulate and inspire students in the process of learning and personal growth. Staff also play key roles in their own fields helping to ensure that the best possible educational environment is provided at Newhaven College through their work in management, administration, teacher support and property and grounds.

All Newhaven College staff must have current Working With Children checks. All teaching staff, including visiting instrumental teachers must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teachers. The College has a comprehensive Collective Enterprise Agreement.
