Newhaven College seeks to recognise, support and promote talented young people in the belief that the educational experiences and achievements of all students can be enhanced though a quality educational program. Through our Scholarships program, Newhaven hopes to provide an education to students who might otherwise not be able to access the benefits of this College.
Newhaven College offers Scholarships in the following areas:
- Academic - Secondary entry at Year 7 and Year 10
Academic Scholarships are awarded on the basis of results of examinations conducted by EduTest, an independent educational assessment provider.
Applications for Academic Scholarships in 2014 have closed. Information regarding Academic Scholarships offered in 2015 will be listed in early 2014.
- General Excellence - Secondary entry at Year 7 through to Year 12
General Excellence Scholarships are awarded to students entering Years 7-12 who are able to demonstrate outstanding abilities in a number of areas such as the arts, leadership, sport and academic achievement. They are awarded on the basis of application and interview.
Applications for General Excellence Scholarships in 2014 have closed. Information regarding General Excellence Scholarships offered in 2015 will be listed in early 2014.
