Uniform

Newhaven College prides itself on striving to provide a culture where the pursuit of excellence is encouraged and a feeling of pride in the school community is instilled through our traditions and values. The wearing of the school uniform to a high standard is an integral part of this and enables the school to provide a secure, ‘level playing-field’ environment where students are able to develop their confidence through finding and strengthening their talents and not be open to judgement for what they wear or how they look.

Correct uniform for sport and House competitions is compulsory for all students in Years Prep – 12 and VCE Physical Education students. All Newhaven College students are required to wear the College’s broad brimmed hat for all outdoor activities in Terms 1 and 4.

Please note that Year 9 Students wear a different uniform to the remainder of the Secondary School.

Certain items of the uniform are compulsory. All years must have a Newhaven College Backpack. Non-compulsory items include Japara Coats, Scarves, Year 12 Ties and Hair Accessories.

Newhaven College offers uniform for purchase through an external provider, Noone Imagewear, who operate a shop at the rear of the Boys Home Road Campus.  Uniform can also be purchased at their Graeme Booth outlet in Beaconsfield. Please view the For Parents (Uniform Shop) section of this website for further information regarding pricing and opening hours.
