Our Junior School extends far beyond the normal classroom.
In addition to their specialist classes for Art, LOTE (Japanese), Drama and Library, our students are supported in their studies by access to classroom computers and the computer labs. Students can also participate in private music tuition across a range of instruments in purpose built rooms within the Junior School.
The College offers programs which are designed to assist those students who have learning difficulties and disabilities. Class teachers work in partnership with the Student Support Services and Integration Aides to design and implement curriculum that meets the needs of the students.
Students who show particular talents and gifts in particular subject areas have the opportunity to work on a variety of enrichment and extension tasks in class, as work set by teachers will be differentiated to meet their needs.
A variety of leadership roles also exist within the Junior School. There are Junior School Captains, Vice-Captains, Sports Captains, Arts Captains and Junior School House Captains and an active Student Representative Council which provide many opportunities for students to take on additional responsibility and gain new skills.
