Our Youth Parliament team of Sarah Larkin, Matisse Cousins, Angelina Christos, Caitlin and Simone Hunt and Angus Smith attended a special meeting of the Bass Coast Council to report on their parliament experience.

Our young Equestrian Team riders from Junior, Middle and Senior School, along with some alumni, recently travelled to Tooradin Estate for a challenging day training in dressage and cross country.
Year 11 student Shae White was chosen to join the Young Endeavour on a journey of a life time. From this opportunity came others such as speaking at Rotary and then last week being a guest speaker at the fundraiser luncheon for Alma Doepel.
The Annual Junior Gippstar Award winner was Year 10 student Sage Goldsbury, who was selected for her achievments in her sport of Surfing, which included competing in the USA.
Our annual Music Camp took place over four days with over 200 students taking part in four tiers of music making led by College music staff as well as 13 visiting professional clinicians.
Our Year 9 students recently played host to two calves for three weeks as part of the ‘Cows Create Careers’ program. ‘Caramel’ and ‘Curly Wurly’ certainly enjoyed the attention they received during their stay at ‘Moohaven’.
The new crossing is now complete and, thanks to our crossing supervisors, students who walk or ride to school now have a safe place to cross busy Phillip Island Road.
The 2019 student exchange program between Newhaven College and Ibaraki Christian Junior High School in Japan is significant as it marks 20 years of friendship between our schools.
Congratulations to our combined Middle School and Senior School Guitar Ensembles who travelled to Methodist Ladies’ College recently to present a combined performance at the Classical Guitar Society of Victoria’s ‘Ensemble Extravaganza’.
