Newhaven College are the Australian Senior Girls School Under 19 Pairs Champions courtesy of Daisy Corbett and Sophie Fletcher, both of Cape Woolamai.
The 6th annual Newhaven College Show Jumping Championships was held at the Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre in Clyde on Friday 27 November. The day was a huge success with 120 riders representing 52 schools who travelled to compete from as far away as Bendigo and Camperdown.
Our Student Cabinet raised $4,000 for the You Are My Sunshine Foundation (YAMS), their chosed charity for 2017.
The Newhaven Boys Vocal Group have been selected to perform at the prestigious Pemulwuy! National Male Voice Festival that will be held in Brisbane in June and July.
This group of talented girls have been surfing together at Newhaven College for a number of years and are now taking all before them!
A beautiful sunny day proved a good omen for yellow House, Clarke, as they took out top honours for the second consecutive year at the Junior School House Athletics Carnival.
On Thursday the 30th and Friday the 31st of March, Newhaven College will host the Independent Schools Arts Learning Festival, as it embarks on a regional tour across Victoria.
The Newhaven College Equestrian Team had a great day at the Summer Interschool Show Jumping Competition with lovely rounds being jumped by every member of the team.
We welcomed 930 students on February 1, with twenty-eight excited new Preps enjoying a wonderful first day at school.
Our community gathered to celebrate the school year at the Year 5 – 11 Presentation Evening. and a variety of awards were presented to recognise outstanding achievements.
Our 2017 Junior School Leaders were inducted at assembly on Wednesday 16 November by Head of Junior School, Ralph Arceo.
