Friends of Performing Arts (FoPA) was established in 2021, in time for the opening of the College's Performing Arts Centre. Its primary purpose is to assist with the activities of the Music and Drama departments, by promoting and supporting Performing Arts.
FoPA is involved in a range of activities including:
- Providing refreshments at school concerts and functions
- Raising funds to promote the visiting performers series, provide items for the Performing Arts, and assist in covering costs associated with Performing Art tours
- Promoting and encouraging attendance at Performing Arts events and concerts.
Members of FoPA include Newhaven College parents and guardians who want to assist the College's Performing Arts program. If you enjoy Music and Drama and are interested in supporting Performing Arts events at Newhaven College, we welcome your participation in FoPA.
