Newhaven College is fortunate to have a generous community of people who are willing to volunteer their time and talents to assist our school in many ways, including within and outside of the classroom.
Newhaven College is strongly committed to child safety. Our school actively promotes the safety and wellbeing of all students, and all school staff are committed to protecting students from abuse or harm in the school environment in accordance with their legal obligations including child safe standards.
To comply with all government legislation regarding Child Protection we ask that you complete the following steps to register as a volunteer at Newhaven College:
- Apply for a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and register Newhaven College as a volunteer organisation on your card
- Download the Volunteer Registration pack and complete all sections. The pack can be completed electronically.
- Email your completed registration pack and Certificate of Completion for the online training module to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will receive a confirmation email once your registration is complete.
